I have ? O ? N ? Nothing for second `word`. Also I have no idea who the game-show host is at 13d. Grateful for any help ! Mags.

Plan B, back up idea. P = soft, music term. Lab = dog, abbreviated/little shortened, Labrador, with N, name inside.

PS It'd be a good idea to give the info on 13 D - those without the puzzle have no chance of helping!
