Therefore your prizes are some extracts from (IMHO) one of the funniest films of all time – Les Visiteurs. A medieval knight and his vassal end up in the twentieth century. If you haven’t seen it I would recommend you get it on Prime. Sadly, the excerpts don’t have subtitles but the film itself does

Congrats Peter and thanks Paul for hosting and the shortlisting. I’ll check out the film, that looks like a young Jean Reno, so it must pre-date Leon which is one of my favourite films.

"Macron's the" is a trick that I should have got. "man with no money" is a bit more obscure, but the thing that really threw me was the bank.

I liked it Peter, I would have possibly gone with ‘to bank’ rather than ‘in the bank’ but that might me just me. I think it was certainly the best of the French based clues ;-)
