Thanks for posting, as ever. Started at 16:38, finished at 17:17, though the last fifteen minutes were spent checking it. Still hate the maths ones.

No answer begins with a zero, but it's not clear if a perimeter cell can be the end of an answer and have 01 to 09 in it; can 09 for instance be taken as 9 in the "endgame" when peripheral entries are transposed to there related numbers (1 to 15) in order to spell out a message?
(Who am I kidding? I'm never gonna get that far?)

Interesting question - don’t think you can rule it out on the basis of the preamble although would be surprised if it actually occurred as doesn’t feel particularly elegant
