Weekend Pier, er, Peer Review 64
Welcome to our weekend competition to compose a cryptic clue to be judged by your fellow contestants.
You may enter as many clues as you like, and everyone is welcome, particularly new entrants. Feel free to explain your clue, if you think it will help or to ask another entrant to parse their clue.
Clues should be posted before noon (UK time) on Sunday, January 24th. when voting opens. Voting closes at 9 pm (UK time) the same day.

As noted last week I want to try a form of preference voting rather than FPTP this week. So (as I will remind you on Sunday) everyone has six votes to allocate across anywhere from one to six clues, with the only constraint being no fractional votes. If you want to allocate them 3/2/1 for your top 3 clues, great, but many other allocations are possible.
In the incredibly unlikely event of a tie, the number of first place votes will be the tiebreaker (if those are equal, 2nd place votes, etc).
