Thanks Bunty. No wonder the anagram for 15a didn't show up in Chambers! I then started to think of game as in lame. Re 22a, how many letters do you have in the clash, 7? I'm still a bit? as I've got an Egyptian queen stuck in my head.
I have the whole thing completed but was expecting the clashes to be meaningful anagrams rather than just positional.

7 letters in the clash .....all clashes are to do with the "W" of the unclued...google it... (assume you have the unclued entry?)

Doh! Thanks again Bunty. I had googled and Wikipedia'd but only got as far as the alpha.....names. Strange because as soon as I googled the 21d clash, up pops a map with the proper names.

All done, thanks!

I’m done but baffled by 4d.
And not clear on the justification for removing the thematic letter and then anagramming several entries?

ea is an abbrev with the other 2 single letter abbrevs rising inside.
W is a visual representation of the theme.

Thanks for 4d, I never knew 'each' had or needed an abbreviation.
Still don't get the W connection - it would be more appropriate to ADD a W in the middle of each word, surely. W being the centre of that galactic entity. Why take it away, and then mix up the remainder?
