I set a quiz round on this subject years ago. The worst performing team contained two Londoners. The one I frequently hear up here in the North is 'Would you Adam and Eve it?' I suppose rhyming slang, like any other language, is constantly evolving.

Thanks, I have never heard of a sherbet dab. I was once told by a Cockney that he admired my bottle. I assumed he meant courage and took it as a compliment.
