Ding! End of the final round and we have lots of anagrams, some with smother surfaces than others. Loved the ideas of innermost toads, inert mastodons, disturbed monsters, snorting protest gatherings and the gatherings of short Greeks.

We also had a smattering of demons, rations and some remonstrations making it a very difficult choice.

I liked the topicality of statue toppling (Mattrom@23 and Aristophanes@11), Hannah's 'medley of sorts@ @15, Paul's 'moon manifestations'@2 and the word efficiency of BBM2@9 and Tyke@4.

Ultimately it came down to a choice of Hannah@15 and this weeks winner Paul@18 with the very smooth and concise:

Shows modest strain on exercising (14)[/b

Congratulations Paul and thank you all for entering. My initial idea for a word was 'physics' but I couldn't think of a half-decent clue myself. So the prize for this week is a few demonstrations (of physics).

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I particularly liked the first one.
