Congrats Paul
Thanks Malcolm for a good word and a fair way to settle the matter.
Laughed at the clip
Thanks Spike2 for the consideration
@Mattrom I am awaiting the delivery of a Chambers Xword dictionary. Will be checking on praise and push! I can't find it anywhere on the web.

Congratulations, paul, and thanks, malcolmx. Thanks also to dorrien for the mention.

Three members of a family who are dear friends of mine were shot to death in their home. I wish they hadn't been defenseless.

Thanks for the votes everyone and thanks for the casting vote Malcolm.
Phew - heavy going video Malcolm! I’m just very grateful we live in a country where non-criminal normal folk don’t get an option to keep guns. Knives, however, is a different problem but seems to be mainly limited to youth gang culture . I would personally come down very heavily and impose full-life tariffs after the second strike. So much for keeping politics out of the forum! See you next week for some traditional whimsy and levity.....

Well done, Paul, for several good clues.
A big thank you to Aristo for your vote, and to Spike and Paul for the mention.
Cheers to Malcolm for officiating, and a good word to clue. I hadn't heard of Jim Jeffries either, even though he is (obviously) an Aussie.
Dorrien, that sounds, like Chambers, somewhat heavy :-)

Stick around for Weekend Peer Review....
