14 Annoyance, anagram of 'can anyone'. The definition is the first word, anagrammed ('off').

1 Aperture, opening. A and E with Per, a, and Tur/rut reversed (routine over) inside. A Per Tur E.

16 Sunbonnet, hat - I wouldn't think of it as one word, but it fits. It's Sonnet, poem, with Un, one and B, black, inside.

You're welcome, Diablos, and thanks for the kind wishes. I'm well, hoping it stays that way - and hoping everyone around me does too.

Poor slumber is one of our problems (7)

DavidW, you're welcome. It took me a minute or two to see it - originally I was anagramming only 'slumber' and got nowhere!
