Hi Tony,

Definition is "reckless behaviour" and is a 4 letter word for "wrong" inside a 3 letter word for "prohibitionist" (loose definition!)

Thanks! I was thinking SIN and prohibitionist is a bit of a stretch! Worth it when you get there, though.

Hi Tanglewood,

15a definition is "country" and the answer is in the clue.

24,12 definition is a rather cryptic "one on the board" and is a 4 letter word for "snake" (as a verb) + a 5 letter word for "more certain" around/bites the head of F(irm)

Hi Roof,

I hope you're feeling better:-)

8a definition is "girl" (name) and is the usual 2 letter acronym for "in charge" inside a place in a Shakespeare play famous for "two gentlemen"

3d double definition - both a position where a "quick footballer" might play and a catch all name for "swift" (or any bird that flies)

6d definition is something you might "bake" - and it's a homophone of what you might say if you had a "pain in the backside"

22d definition is "put off" and is a cryptic definition of where a female who was jilted or "not given ring" might end up?
