An enjoyable puzzle full of kick-self moments!

I'm totally stuck on 3dn, and also have an entry for 6dn which I can't figure out the answer for - nudges would be very much appreciated.

Kick-self moment for 6dn has happened upon posting! If only I'd had the vision to see it sooner.

Still stuck with 3dn though

'Fish-eye' is the def (a way of looking) - the answer begins with '(len)S' + usual archaic (Shakesp.) 3 letters for 'set on' + usual abbrev for 'base'.

All done but not sure what abbreviation to put for the first 7 letters of 31 down - the abbreviation for a set of numbers? Can't seem to find anything definitive in Chambers. Thx
