Hi. Can anyone help with 5d? An associate member of Nato, perhaps. (7). A???n??

This might help with the crossers, which are also giving grief.

PS. I've checked and Chambers does give M as an abbreviation for 'Member'.

Hi Catcharmer, I use the phone app version of the dictionary and it's excellent. It only costs about £2 and is well worth the money IMHO.

Of course. I was thinking anagram. Duh! I have the Chambers apps — dictionary and thesaurus. Will use the dictionary more. Thesaurus is great. Have a good week.

I have the thesaurus also. I used a £10 Google gift token and was able to get both the dictionary and thesaurus.
