Evening all

Thank you for playing our clue contest. We are back to pre-holiday levels of interest with a decent crop of 31 clues from 11 setters.

The voting produced a tie between spike #26 and mattrom #33 , with the rest divided between dorrien #4 and #36 along with jws #15.

(My own choice would have been tyke #30)

Almost impossible to separate these two . Excellent surface readings in both but I'm just swayed to the clue where the answer would be more of a penny dropper ;
