I gave up on that one and have a blank space there too!

I suspect what I am about to write isn't of any interest, but if the S could be wrong, there is an Indian stringed instrument called a vina.

*ISA is agreed by all those doing the puzzle. There will probably be an apology (hopefully) next weekend.
The S comes from Sable (species of marten) and fits with all three crossers
