Malone, if I may chip in, I finished it rather more quickly than usual so it may have been a touch easier - but thought some of the clues were great fun!

Based on how long it took me to solve, I would put it right in the middle of the Azed difficulty spectrum.

Some excellent clues, with 14a standing out for me.

No, KT, thanks for chipping in! I think I was quite lucky this week in that a couple of long answers gave me an ample supply of letters in places. I'd tried a couple of Azeds before - I remember finding one impossible, I remember detesting a Spooner puzzle. I'll maybe try it again next week - how gracious of me!
