Can anyone clarify the parsing of the following for me:
"Carriage? Are demanding one for transport." Solution: Air taxi.

I get "Air" for carriage and that "transport" is the definition. Also tax is a demand and you add an "i" for "one". What I don't understand are the words: "ARE DEMANDING". How does this become simply "tax"?

One definition in Chambers, is, "make heavy demands on".
