Slr, thanks for the additional information. I do only normal, regular crosswords - so there 1-5 would lead to X-rated, for example.

I enjoy doing this spiral.
Sometimes I find I've put in a correct answer going in the opposite direction without realising it!
It's fairly new to the Weekend magazine and it took me a while to get my head round it.

I have also done the same thing rossim. I've now finished if any further help needed
