Hmmmm! Sorry to disagree with every(wo)man but I thought this was too easy for a prize crossword. I am not that great at solving but I do like the challenge I completed this one too quickly. Now I have to clean the house instead of taxing my little brain!

I agree, Playbus, I too finished the puzzle too quickly!
I like a bit of a "struggle", and one or two clues to "worry" over !
This all went in too easily.

I thought it was a bit on the easy side but quite enjoyable.
The only clue that i thought a bit dubious was 19d confusing letters with digits.

19d is fine with me. Henry viii is another example where a digit is written so

Got them all except 20a. Found the rest easy and enjoyable.

According to Welsh woman, jazz fan is hairy beast. (7, 3)
