Answer must be OMNIBUS

But why??

I hate not understanding the answer.

O (Oxygen) + m(i)nibus (one lost in vehicle).

O for Oxygen
One lost in vehicle is "m(i)nibus"
Volume is omnibus.

Thanks folks. My problem was seeing omnibus as the vehicle not the volume!
