2 Down - " A do for over five?" (4,1,5). The answer is obviously "half a dozen", which is over five and in the middle is "ado"(?!) but before I start banging my head on the wall will someone please explain? Is it just me?

A DO is half of "a dozen" (not very good!)

Thanks for that - so I was on the right thread, but in my defence I agree it's not the best of clues!
