Here's a few I'm having difficulty in finishing off:-
26 Down - "Leave me out of summons, to be consistent" (6) -O-E-E
30 Across - "Not initially fleeced, smaller lamb will be" (8) H-R-L-S-
(guess this must be HARMLESS? - I wanted to go for HAIRLESS at one time)
37 Down - "Group of friends sit around smoking in van" (5) P-S-E
(It looks like POSSE but can't see it)
14 Across - "Block digital protection" (5) S-A-L

30 Hornless - from Shorn less.

26 Cohere, be consistent. Take 'me' out of Come Here.

14 Stall, double definition. A finger stall is a dressing/covering/protection for fingers/digits.

Man "y thanks, Chips and Mattrom - that's a big help. Not heard of STALL used in that sense. Just solved "POSSE" - that's "POSE" around "S" (the first letter of "SMOKING") Very sneaky!

According to my Dad, this was a very poor clue. He was taught to do crosswords at 18 by his grandmother and great aunt, and 'e knows, y'know!!

The solution to 18 across made me laugh out loud.
But why don't the Times credit their compilers ?
