I have three not parsed - that's one of them!

I have a New York theatreland location.

the safe place is a harbour, the show is like part of an athletics meeting, both surrounded by a girl's name.

Why "short-term concept"? I might also quibble about "looking" rather than "seeing"...

I think the short-term may refer to cricket - and vision = concept ...

I only started this crossword at 6.00pm. I got two and then promptly fell asleep. (Too much wine at lunchtime?).

So I need some help to get me started before 9.00pm when Montalbano starts. I haven't understood either of the hints so far. I know no theatres in Broadway. So how about a hint for 14,13 (8,2,3,5) Regular relief from daughter. I only have C??????? ?? T?? ?????.

Or 11 across (4,2,4) As heavy traffic carries on backing up, trouble ensuing. I only have ??S? for the first word. There must be an anagram somewhere!

14,13 last two words anagram of daughter. First two what you have done to second two words to get a regular event.

11 I have got as on reversed then two types of trouble making a phrase for heavy traffic. The two types of trouble make up 3 words 3,2,3
