I was just about to post something about Recaptcha, myself, Dave!
It is driving me mad!
My last post took seven lots of pictures for me to to sift through, before I could "send!

I feel your pain, Dave!
Some of the pics are very poor quality, too, which does not help.
Why not let Norah know that you are struggling to complete the reCaptcha ?

Using a laptop and chrome I only have to tick a box to say I'm not a robot.
Just once pictures appeared and it took me 3 goes to identify the bridges. My eyesight is pretty good (with reading glasses!) so I feel for you.
Captcha does seem to have reduced the spam significantly though.

Hello, Rossim, I use a Chromebook and only have to tick a box, too.
No pictures have ever appeared.
My tablet is Android and I get pictures on that, though.
A lot less spam these days.

Using Firefox on a PC I've never had captchas until last week. This made me wonder if something had been tweeked at that time.

Apart from the initial teething stages, when reCaptcha was first introduced, and which was a bit of a nightmare then, I have since had no trouble (using Microsoft Edge) - simply requiring a tick - until last week, when some one unleashed a tiger!

Now I am battling with from four to about a dozen pictures every time I want to post!

I tried several different browsers on my desk top computer, in recaptcha's early stages...but had identical results no matter which browser I used.

Norah tells me that Ash will look into this.

I had reCAPTCHA pictures to negotiate earlier today on Chrome.
That is a first.
I normally simply tick a box.
