I can't quite parse 22. I'm favouring IN as an ending rather than ID but neither seem to work satisfactorily.

I think “in”. An anagram of goan followed by “in” from the clue. The whole of the rest is the definition.
The problem with these easier listeners is that they can sometimes be so obvious you can’t see them.
I had a similar problem with 18 where I think sat becomes sit which then forms 60% of the answer. Seemed too easy to be correct.

I agree - 18ac is particularly weak.

Having discovered the location pretty early on I'd hoped the work was the one which would have permitted me to blast out some marvellous Mahler to the annoyance of my (many) neighbours inflicting wailing Ramadan "music" on my ears at all hours. However, it wasn't too be. But I allowed myself a chuckle when I noticed the un-highlighted letters in row 4.

Thanks smithsax. I'm leaning that way but it's rather fanciful. A decent starter for new solvers but rather too many clues where little effort seems to have been made on the surface reading.

I’ve completed the puzzle and found the location in the bottom two rows. Unable to find the other. Any hints such as the first letter and the row in which it appears? Thx

Looking for something that 'goes over it' - so centre/top - not a straight line as the shape is represented.

Delighted to say that I have completed the puzzle without help from Malone!. This means that it must have been very easy. Have also had a winning ticket on yesterday's lottery - £30 to the good.
What a weekend
