Chris, I'm not 100% certain, but my takes are:

10. ? LT (Lieutenant) backwards with R (take) and AVE (salute)
13. Reverse acrostic
16. A hill - a tor. TRAVEL(ATOR)

stevea # 13 is a reverse acronym
paul #10, Lt = officer.
I was going to ask about ginge's as well, and also
BBM2 #18
FJ #20

Hi folks, thanks skyewalker yes + a tor would give a travelator which unlike an escalator may be level as in a "moving pavement".
BBM2 @ 18, Travel Iron. While iron is normally associated with "decrease" cryptically it could be used to put in a crease so "increase"; surface obviously golf.
fiery @ 20, is a take on a "successful" TV advert featuring Lorraine Chase.

Re paul @ 10, I believe take is the inclusion indicator with rave a synonym of salute (given in online Thesaurus).

Hi, Mattrom.

18. Although the surface read implies a golf theme, a "travel iron" is just a small, portable iron taken on trips for pressing clothes.

I'm not seeing 20 either, I'm afraid.

mattrom/sw - spot on with mine.

sw - is the impressive number of setters a record? Well done for garnering so many!

fj@20 - I get the Lorraine Chase connection, but don't see the parse.
