(The second letter may be "O")

10a Looks like TWEAKED (Tweed around/clothing A K(ing))

It is tweaked, Brendan - thanks, The one crossing it at the fifth letter was worded in such a way that a homonym was involved and I felt I'd put the right word in (SEEK), but it turned out to be SIKH!!

Hi Rocketman, I haven't got the crossword but 6d definitely looks like LINGO and SOME would fit the definition and letters for 14a but I can't parse either.

Not to worry, Brendan! I've just put in LINGO and SOME and rarely
a week goes by where there's a clue where nobody can see the parsing to it!
