I know I'm being silly but have you checked that all your letters are correct?

If it was 4, 6, 11 the same and
2, 12 the same

Yes I think they are correct
this is from a 'codeword crossword' where each letter of the alphabet is given a letter. And they only give ONE letter in the whole puzzle as letter B == 24 (I know that doesnt relate to this question but the actual puzzle answer is
16, 12, 4, 8, 22, 8 then 2nd word==7, 13, 6, 17, 8, 12
so 4th & 6th of 1st word ==5th of 2nd word
and 2nd of 1st word & last of 2nd word are same.

The only other UNRELATED answer needed is a 4 letter word ending in letter 'B' with the 2nd & 3rd letters the same
I have only come up with LEEB
The 2 middle letters have to be the same as the first letter of the politicians name. Therefore presumably a vowel

Other suggestions for the 4-letter word are

BEEB
DOOB
LOOB

all are valid words

Then Arlene Foster does fit as 2nd and 12th letters are the same, not 5th and 12th as you said originally.
