The only ambiguity I can see is in the 7th row, and resolving this with the letters in 'clue' helps complete the central block.

I can see only one possibility for the unclued entry in the penultimate row - the foreign alternative appears in Chambers in two phrases but not as a discrete entry.

I realise my 7th row alternatve could be dismissed as a proper noun but even so...

As ever, I’ve finished, but...

Can anyone please help me parse:

15a - means ‘joined’, but can’t sort the rest properly.
22a - means ‘nerds’, but can’t quite parse it.
34a - means ‘gush’, but can’t square the rest.

34a o(ld) framed by lord (over = reversed)
