Hi sunray, an abbreviated form of have plus a truncated synonym of lifespan.

Oops sunray, I meant lifetime but have inadvertently (sorry) given more than I meant to.

But it's just one word.

Could someone please help me parse three clues?

23A - Inattentive fellow cut fellow (4). I’m pretty sure the last letter (the only unchecked one) is F, to give a synonym for inattentive as the solution, but just can’t parse the rest.

8D - Chardin’s images of fish - French art (5). I have the answer, meaning ‘French art’, but can’t figure out the rest.

25D - Flowers came up covering one acre (8). I have the answer, meaning flowers. Begins with ‘came up’, but can’t parse the rest.

23a A dean at Oxford and Cambridge is a fellow.

8d Def. is French word for images
fish = IDE + the last part of French for 'you are'

25d one=ACE + A (acre) in synonym for 'came up'
