Thanks for runing it rossim, and for the clip. Very interesting! Footballs and buckminsterfullerene (C60) are made from hexagons and a few pentagons, as was the wooden ball. However the hexagons by themsleves would just lie flat, but he was able to make them "bowl". I wonder how?

Well done Paul - an emphatic win! Thanks for the mentions Pedagogue and Dorrien and well hosted Rossim...my surname happens to be Wood so I`m pleased your word got a good response!
Also pleased with the references to Real Ale and Cricket which are two of my favourite pastimes - `Old Tom` is an excellent beer while `Wood` has many connections with both brewing and cricket.
