I,too, have the one obvious word starting at 22d, but despite the hints given I just cannot see the remaining words. More help please.

Marca, the curve's continuous - so there's something before and after the word you have. The definite word is a good place to start, it's the first one.

I have the words and the curved shape - but a bit of a problem as my entry for 12d ends in an S.

Nelson, I almost did that. The word ends in the correct letter - the answer is an odd-looking word! (It usually has a slightly longer spelling.)

Nelson, I forgot to add that the answer you first had won't work fully with the clue.
