Hi all. Just finished yesterday's Daily Mail cryptic but I'm puzzled by one clue. The clue is,"Fool's radical show behind screens" and with M_R_N , the answer will be 'moron' - which lines up with 'fool' - but the rest of the clue has me baffled. Any explanations please.

Thanks Malone. You've got it. I don't think I'd have seen that in a month of Sundays but now it's explained...

You're welcome, Airhead. I missed out one little bit of the parsing - the 'screens' means the previous bit, Moon, show behind, contains/hides the R.

PS. Yes, I often think answers seem totally obvious when they're explained to me!
