Need help with parsing please!

5a Old man's weakness - old variety of pinball (8)

The answer is PACHINKO = old japanese form of pinball

Now, I can see PA = old man, but CHINKO ?

The only meaning I find is; japanese word for a part of male
anatomy ............... Surely there is something I am missing?

Hi pigale, the wordplay is split by the -; chink = weakness + o = old.

Pa = old man

Chink = weakness/ a crack, cleft, or fissure

Old = O

I'd read it as chin KO (knock out) and thought the old refered to the type of pinball (which I had to look up). But the above makes more sense.
