Actually I was only pointing out that I agreed with you, in case you hadn't seen my earlier post!
I have written a few times to the Crossword editor of The Times, and have always had a prompt and considerate reply.
Once I even had an apology for his acknowledged mistake!

I have not had a reply to my last 6 e-mails to the EV Editor. These were complaints about the numerous errors in recent puzzles, as mentioned by Malone. There was an apology published about a missing clue though.
