Oh, and of course the Mad Hatter was the part I played in our amdram panto of the Alice story. Had particular fun doing Jabberwocky in 4 different voices.

I also learned (Wikipedia) that Lewis Carroll introduced three words into the English language via that poem: chortle, galumphing, burble.

Enough burbling by me ... Merry Xmas all.

Well done Steve - it`s been a long mad friday! - congrats Paul
Thanks to Paul for a like and Mattrom for a potential like (agree 100% with your comment Mattrom!)

On the `Alice` theme I can`t resist sharing this link to Grace Slick singing `White Rabbit` (the vocals are isolated)...

Well done Paul and thanks Steve. I'd have liked to see the performance as well! I didn't know that about the poem.

Hatters went mad because of the mercury they used.

Great song, tyke, but I don't see why you would want to isolate the vocals. Jorma Kaukonen in particular was one of the great guitarists (I have somewhere an duo album with him and someone I've forgotten, called Hot tuna)

Chrise/Rosalind - the performance was recorded! I'll be getting a copy on dvd. Pop round and you can watch it! :)

Tyke - when I'm in a show/play, there's this thing I HAVE to do: play the same song on repeat, while driving to and from it. So naturally it was White Rabbit.

And, chrise, if you like Jorma Kaukonen's playing, check out Heron Oblivion: they sound like Sandy Denny meets Jorma Kaukonen.
