I don't know exactly what is happening but I'm having terrific problems with the CAPTCHA, being unable to load it. I've had to use another machine to get through there could be others out there having the same problem but are unable to get in contact to tell anyone. The computer I normally use is about 12 years old and has Windows Vista operating system.

Please read the thread Over Zealous Captcha, you are not alone, also perhaps it doesn’t like Vista.
