Thank you so much to Skyewalker, Seamus, Dorrien and Paul for your votes, and to Chrise, Pigale and FJ for the mention.
I see what you mean about lead, FJ (#15) . I did check the formula, but it's been a while since my chemistry days.

Thanks also to SW for the earlier parse. I've been walking a goldie for a few weeks while her owner is recouperating. She has the face of an angel, but likes to disappear into the long grass for extended periods.

Cheers, BBM2. I thought it was a good word with lots of possibilities, and didn't mind a second airing - it's different, anyway.
I had a smile at the video - of course it could be that the retriever has a better poker face.

Cheers till next week, when we'll be back to 'normal'.

FJ @36 and mattrom
I've just looked back at the "which lead" comment. Actually there are three common lead oxides - lead(II) oxide ("litharge") PbO, which is yellow, lead (IV) oxide (not (III)), PbO2, which is brown, and "red lead", Pb3O4, which is orange-red, and is PbO,PbO,PbO2
I thought PbO was valid for "lead oxide", oxidation state unspecified.
