Please could someone explain the implied link between 12A & 15A apart from the same five letters which appear in both answers.

It's OK, I've figured it out. Add "OR" to 12A then forget "TO" and you have all the letters for 15A. Extremely convoluted!

Glad you figured out. My query this week is 17ac (6) Count constituents. I have "batter" as answer, but can't parse the Count. Or am I missing something obvious? Any help as usual, much welcome
