2 D. Preserves, items sold at school fetes. I think the clue had PTA - instead of being Parent Teacher Association, it gives P +TA, territorial army, reserves, so PReserves.

I think the TA is the Army Reserve, rather than reserves, though?

Rusty, I know very little about the TA, Army Reserves etc - but Anne Bradford has TA listed under 'Reservation, Reserve(d), Reservist(s)', so that'll do for me!
