Hi laertes

For clue 5, you need a four-letter word meaning "disturbed water trail" plus N for navy and "stir up" is the definition.

For clue 7, a very old English five-letter word for sweetheart plus D for died both go inside a three letter word for beer, and the definition is a German dance.
