1 Across.

"Skill put over by bridge partners wanting manuscript changes. (10).

The answer I get is 'transforms' but I'm not sure why.

I get that 'art' reversed is the 'skill put over' bit, and that 'wanting manuscrip't is the 'for ms' bit, but how does 'bridge partners' fit in?

Please help. Thanks

A.

Thank you though.

You're welcome!
I'm not a bridge player either. I had to look it up to be certain of the answer.

Ah!

I did try a couple of bridge terminology websites last night but obviously I was still on the wrong track somehow.
