I declare the votes cast in the constituency of Peer Review were as follows

Les 40 #29, skyewalker # 10, rossim #21: 1 each
skyewalker #3 : 2
aristophanes #12 : 4
mattrom #6 : 5

I therefore declare the winner to be mattrom for her clever subtractive anagram with smooth surface - "Many discover company's gone bust".

I liked aristo's as well and am glad I did not have to adjudicate between them.
