Marca, you have the correct number of amended answers. I listed the letters (the additional letters) and the explanation appeared. Do you have any amended answer that you feel is a bit iffy?

37. It's a normal clue - a short word for an activist (not necessarily political) contains a common abbreviation for the people mentioned in the clue. The answer is a hanging.

42. Is thematic. 'Fit' is the definition of the answer to the clue itself, before amending.

Marca, my 1a yields two letters which would be unlikely to start any word, but the answer fits with the extra word in 11a

Marca, the pairs of letters don't stay as pairs, aren't read in pairs. List them like a neat shopping list, with seven items.

I can only find 6 themed clues ... they are all across ones...which am i missing? 10d?
