Maybe it's wrong but i have broach for 13a ... defn start to speak about... B not in wordplay ....just fish ... roach ??

The last two words of the 26 omitted letters tell you the path to follow from the relevant Bs to trace out the occurrences of the four-letter motif.

First B in 13a then 2 cells across one down gets to a 1 across 2 up gets to c then 2 across 1 down gets to h

can't make the B in 32d work though??
