Appreciate help please with 20a Sign of redundancy (3) L?O or L?U.(Depends if 15d Shameless is "immodest" or "impudent"). Could be Leo - clearly a sign, but redundancy?

Hi again dantheman - I would think 15d is immodest and the other one Leo but can't figure out where the redundancy comes from

"Redundant by Leo Butler premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 2001"
Might be a reference to this - pretty obscure tho.

Thanks to Henry, Jimbo and Helena. Think I'll go with Leo unless anyone can advise otherwise. Finally just to check 27a please. "Great toughness" (4) I have "grit", but the connection seems a bit vague. Anyone agree?
