I'm going to go all pretentious now. I too fancy myself as a musician and have, in the past, as a hobby, done some songwriting and instrumental composition. I only mention because, like coming up with crossword clues, it's often the ones you think are rubbish that everyone likes, and the ones you think are brilliant, everyone else thinks are mince.
