Yikes! This is a toughie. I so liked so many of your clues. I’ll mention just a few favorite touches: mattrom’s lovely surface read with “…anything to do with…”, tatters’s clever shift from S to N in masquerade, ab’s double definition, les’s “’bust up’ at the bar”, skyewalker’s “play a card”, ixion’s marquee, stevea’s wonderful use of “board member” and “First” (really, really good)… I’m going with ginge’s brilliant offering @33, perhaps because it’s the kind of thing I never do:
