I'm so glad Elle. I found it hard to explain.
It would be nice if Norah came up as the 10,000th reply but it would mean she would have to post number 10,001.

But we also need her to come up as the 10,000th reply on the PCT
so as was said before , she would need to post twice?

I hope she is following this - I see it now, but could never explain it to someone else!

As long as no-one else butts in. But, of course, Norah has the power to delete posts!

I'm with Elle, I hadn't the slightest idea what you were talking about!

However, both Chris and Rossim explained things very well. We are going down to breakfast soon but I'll get the laptop out when we come back up to the room and have a little experiment with dud posts to see what happens.

Edit - I posted two duds, one of which is left, they were Nos 16 and 17. I deleted No 16 so No 17 moved to No 16 spot, on the main forum screen it is showing as 15 replies. Interesting and helpful in the current circumstances.

Hi, Norah!

That has come up as no 16 on here, but for it to do on the front page under "Replies", you now need to make a second post.....

So when you are posting no 10,000 - you also need to post 10,001

Ah, Yes, Elle, I see. 10,001on a thread shows as 10,000 Replies. I'll try and get it right!
