Very tenuous, but could it be Shepherds Bush?

Why would that be?
I am at the same position as other posters. Logic circuit is in Chambers.
I don't have 34, Classy pet captivates Matisse? ?A?VE.
Otherwise done apart from 'salt and pepper'.

Well, it's pretty bad but Sarah Bernhardt has the same initials. Logic circuit produces bush. Lamb keeper gives shepherd. Matisse gives Fauve. Not a good one.

I'm thinking the singular that goes with fish as one constituent part from one pair.

We need to crack the meaning of the title.
I've looked at the archive for 'Where it's at ' (1) -to no avail. But it did bring back a few memories!

Was not an earlier crossword with this same title concerned with the under ground and stations on the central line ? Shepherds Bush might be on the underground also. I must check a route map.

Interesting - am also struggling with theme. Have completed grid, and think I have the 4 pairs but any suggestions as to determining the "constituent parts of a name" most welcome!

I just took it to mean place name, convinved myself that one pair led to "chip"as a constituent of it.
