Thoroughly enjoyable crossie , but I can't for the life of me parse 3d.
Off to get rhubarb before tucking in! (6)

Hi chrisxx. Agree, very enjoyable but all over too quickly. That's the one that I can't parse either (assuming that I've got the correct answer). I can't explain the last 3 letters.

Me too - the definition looks good. Is it something to do with rhubarb as in crowd scenes?

Sorry, not very good at this - look at the number of the 'tucking in' clue.

.......though TUCKING IN was my first one in, and I expect most will have solved it before solving 3d.
